Etre [eh-truh] : French verb meaning "to be". This is the most simple and truthful thing any of us is capable of.
With Etre, my goal is to capture your cherished and important moments in an honest and truthful way through my lens. In short I strive to capture you...simply being you.

Etre 2.0

I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO ETRE PHOTOGRAPHY...the new and improved 2.0 version.
This is my favorite color. This meaning the mint green modge podge above my words. The combo of mint with gold makes me SO happy!!! I want my photography to represent everything positive and beautiful that I see in the world which is why the Etre Logo 2.0 Go (I had to make the phrase rhyme) looks like it does. It reflects a small part of who I am and I LOVE that. The other images above are mini reflections of who I am as well.
I love having my nails painted because on some level it makes me feel more feminine...even though the constant coat of color makes my nails rigidy and my lifestyle leads to chips or smudges in less than a days time every. single. time.
The quote, "She's a dreamer a doer a thinker. She sees possibility everywhere," is on my notebook. One of many notebooks in my unnecessary collection that I create lists and dreams in mostly. The quote inspires me and reminds me of my potential. It's beautiful.
The photo in the bottom left corner is one I took of Isabel. I love to take pictures. I LOVE it.
The greatest husband known to woman gifted me the most fabulous watch for my 23rd birthday and I wear it everyday. Even when it doesn't match my clothes because it matches my SELF regardless.
The same greatest husband ever took a photo of me in my favorite color. Notice the super awesome peace sign I'm sporting haha. It's a goofy habit I formed while teaching English to 33 adorable Chinese children at the GuYi Lefeng Kindergarten. I was there for nearly 6 months, serving with 6 other girls... and for as stinky and crazy as it was, it humbled me and shaped me and I'm who I am today in part because of the experience. The peace sign is just a microbe of proof.
The last photo in the bottom right corner is one I pulled off the side of the road to take spur of the moment. I was in awe of the house that was covered in my favorite color! It made me excited for the house that we will call our own one day. A very very very fine house...but not a mint green one.
